Great article SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint ! Thanks for posting. With no party able to form the supermajority needed in the National Assembly to pass basic legislation, this will be a challenge. Any legislation that does pass will do so because all parties benefit, like the budget - which must be passed and will likely have something for everyone. Further, as you foresaw, the upcoming ROK Presidential Election is now in everyone's sights and all are lining up their constituencies for a win. As you also note, Madam Park is a formidable political operative, even if disqualified from running again, she'll work hard to secure the Blue House for her successor. Don't count the "Queen of Elections" out.
