SPIROS STEVE PISANOS The flying Greek

I was watching the History Chanel this morning and they were talking about the 4th Fighter Group in WWII and they interviewed COL Pisanos and I had not heard of him before. Being somewhat of an aircraft/History nerd and having lived just outside of Edwards AFB for many years I thought i knew about most of the famous test pilots, but evidently not. Very interesting man and career. And then find out he passed away 3 weeks ago at 96. RIP COL Pisanos.
