Pretty scary of them I guess they should be in a different country with their really left sociologist thinking and to think they conned people to vote for them and won and you don’t think there’s voter fraud check there districts for fraud

Let me understand this...I am supposed to use my taxpayer dollars to give money to someone for something that I had no part in and they never experienced...did I get that right...BS! Are we going to give money to Irish folks who were slaves, or reparations to Native Americans because we took OUR land from them and put them on reservations? I know this because my wife has Cherokee in her bloodline...Her great great grand mother dies on the side of the road in a forced march where her family was forced to bury her and keep moving. Where is this nonsense going to stop. I nor any of my ancestors owned another human being...my family came from poor sharecroppers trying to provide for their family, not slave owners...Who decides who gets the money? Just because you are Black doesn't mean you are a descendant from slavery. What about black immigrant families that were never slaves...do they get reparations? Too many open ended why's and who's for this type of nonsense to even come about.

Native Americans do deserve reparations. A quick DNA test can prove slave ancestry ( the masters raped their slaves and the slaves were no longer tribal so their DNA is a mixture of all the West African Nations where the slaves came from)

There were laws on the books (Dred Scott decision for one) that took freedom and rights away from black people specifically and advantaged white people. The Land Act and many other laws that allowed white people to get free land and blacks were not allowed to participate, hell the MGIB excluded black people initially. Black people paid taxes that supported state colleges and universities but could not attend them (University of Texas and Alabama to name a couple)
Most of the Jim Crow laws were to disadvantage blacks and exclude them, your parents benefited from that either directly or indirectly.
While your ancestors were sharecroppers they did not have to compete with my ancestors for work or the land, they were able to buy cotton clothing and tobacco and other goods cheaply because my ancestors were working for free.
Japanese got reparations for what Roosevelt did to them with internment camps.
To my mind there is not statute of limitations on righting a wrong. 3/5ths clause is really in the Constitution. The Dred Scott Supreme Decision says that No black man has any right that a white man is bound to respect........that wrong enshrined into law must be made right.

SCPO Charles Hamilton - Reparations for something that happened over 155 years ago...Jim Crow was post slavery...was it right, NO. How can you prove that 100% of all slave owners raped their slaves and mixed the DNA...you can't so that is a flawed argument. There is no way to 100% prove who is and who isn't a descendant of a slave. I believe slavery was and IS still wrong but to give reparations for this is just wrong. And for me to have to pay for something my ancestors had nothing to do with is wrong. Go after the descendants of proven plantation owners and have them pay independently but good luck in proving that as well.
