I didn't realize the C5A Galaxy was 50 years old. Then again, I missed most of 1968, especially spring.

I had a chance to ride twice on the C-5A Galaxy. Onetime I got stuck on Wake Island, due to landing gear hydraulic problems on the C-5. It was weird, siting backwards in the seating, and the load master serving you the meals.
