That is a horrible article and really has no value. As noted military is on there three times. It should not be. The slide noting military of all ranks in 15% is the only one that should be on there. The other two only note why those subcategories of the original 15% may be higher. Everyone in the military faces the same problems noted in the slides they post.. It is bad math. Perhaps if they would have divided it by service, I might have been more accepting of it but the way they presented it showed they had zero understanding of the military or of the proper use of statistics. You can't count one demographic three times. The sub categories are the reason the original category is what it is. They are not different statistics.
Example:
1. Military all ranks -15% end in divorce
a. Military members who find their spouse at the local strip club - 90% end in divorce.
b. Military members who have "open"relationships with their spouses - 80% end in divorce.
c. Military members who leave for 12 months but come home to a wife 8 months pregnant - 90% end in divorce.
If you take one of the subcategories, it would look like the military has a 90% divorce rate but it is still only a 15% rate.
Bad click bait

SrA John Monette - Are there a lot of male strip clubs out there? I haven't encountered too many in my travels.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Of course they don't all get married. Do you think they were included in a DIVORCE survey? Under each one of Military items posted in that survey, there was nothing that directly correlated to that specific job or pay grade.
Besides I am not "complaining about everything." Just pointing out this is just click bait with no actual research.

I'm sure there is research to back it up. of course, since it's not from a certain news outlet, it shouldn't be trusted.
