I have been a fan of the Aardvark since building a model of one as a kid. And fell in love with the sleek lines of the Lancer, seemingly as a natural progression of the variable geometry concept.

Best part is that it was totally accidental. Photo shoot was set up to get footage of B-1 flying TFR through mountains in background. After first pass film crew saw what was happening and repositioned to get this shot.

Everything I think of the Tomcat I think back your an airshow static display in the south, may have been Seymour Johnson AFB, not sure. Anyhow they parked our FB-111 next to an F-14. Over the course of the 2 day show the F-14 was the only aircraft that leaked more hydraulic fluid than our FB-111. Both great in air, but hated to be parked!
