Japan is proof masks work. Every single day tens of millions of Japanese ride in overly crowded trains, but their COVID metrics are much better than ours. One would wonder why the trains are not super spreaders.

It’s a little frustrating to hear the masses of deniers and anti____ ( fill in the blankers), arguing blindly about viruses being smaller than the holes in the mask, and blah blah blah, as if the process was just like filtering sand at the beach

How do you talk or try to educate real world mechanics with people who won’t hear anything but their narrative? This has been quite an eye opener.

COL (Join to see) - Many of the people have been brainwashed by the GOP leadership. Some of them say ridiculous things in an attempt to win the argument that anti-vaxxing is the way to go. A couple of the traits of a dictator is to increase the fear and hate. They also attack the media and institutions. Dictators want absolute control. Enough control that Trump thought he could steal the election. They become Trump's sheep because he is their messiah.

The problem with the anti-vaxxers is they believe the truths are lies, and the lies are the truths. The US has 17 times more deaths to COVID with adjustments for population differences. The question is why. Why is there such a huge disparity? What are they doing that is good, and what are we doing to make COVID 17 times more lethal than Japan?

I think the huge delta between the countries was created by these facts:
- People are encouraged to go to hospitals for testing if they show COVID symptoms.
- The government recommends minimizing being in the public.
- Contact tracing.
- Everyone wears masks.
- They have a much higher vaccination rate than the US.
