I think that the climate is always changing, has always been changing, and for the meaningful, human-populated future, will continue to be changing. The history of Norse farming settlements in Greenland is an example as is the once-green nature of what is now the Sahara. However, unless there is reliable evidence of sea-levels rising at this time, then I don't think it is a good allocation of time or resources. On a broader scale, humans are top of the food chain because we adapt to all sorts of conditions.

And now, for some chuckles from the folks who write our laws: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7XXVLKWd3Q

The climate is always changing and has been even if man did not exist. The Kyoto Accords and most scientific research today is based on the premise that man is at fault for climate change when we are in between ice ages. Science has been hijacked by groupthink scientists who fire those who don't agree with them when science as always or should have minority opinion is considered equally because sometimes minority opinions are the right one but not so in modern climate political science the signers of the Kyoto Accords and California all want to tax the hell out of you by raising the price of fuel by adding quote-unquote carbon taxes which are are an unfair tax for those who drive long distances or who lived in a cold environment like me. Britt Nicole when her mom's house paying $29 in carbon taxes on my natural gas but I'm not going to turn the thermostat down 10 Celsius Celsius or 50 degrees just to make the environmentalist idiots happy.

Concur completely. It's one of the many memes "out there" to control/push us in the direction of a world government - IMHO.

Agreed, but people do get pissed off. The first part of the message is foxtrot the provincial government Alberta Canada and then foxtrot the prime minister of Canada. Carbon taxes affect everyone and they know most people are not going to cut back on usage and I make too much money to get a refund from the provincial government because if you make over $40,000, you're not entitled to a refund. It's a scam!

Then we have Hollywood stupid leftist celebrity idiots who don't feel satisfied enough looking on YouTube to the oil production here at Fort McMurray, Alberta and are so GD righteous that they have to fly a helicopter using jet fuel and fly over the oil sands. She is polluting the atmosphere but then complaining about the billions of dollars in revenue and tens of thousands of jobs caused by the synthetic oil production that has been going on here since the 1970s. I suspect that green peace, who is an ecological political party who also hates and wants divestiture from the Israelis, is being paid off to shut down oil production in the northern hemisphere so we end up buying it from OPEC and Russia.
