I know you are giddy with excitement over the win in Alabama but try to control yourself. I think this is the 6th post on it. While Jones did win, he beat a candidate the national GOP had abandoned and was under the spotlight of allegations he could not disprove in 4 weeks time. Jones Senate term will last about 2 years. Unless he moves to the right very quickly, he will not survive a re-election campaign in Alabama. The GOP will field a better candidate and Jones will be in the dustbin of Alabama politics before you know it, unless he moves quickly to the right.

It is hard for a democrat in Alabama to move to the right. Planned Parenthood and abirtionist love the left too much. Roy Moore will be vindicated, but I fear too much damage has been done for him to recover. The left did a job on him.

SCPO Morris Ramsey - I don't think Jones can or will move to the left. He is a dead man walking in Alabama politics. He won only because of the situation with Moore, nothing more, nothing less.
