I'm inclined to ask some serious questions about the statement you put together. What establishment actually rules the lives of most Americans? An oligarchy of powerful billionaires, subject matter experts in academia, government professionals, the half dozen or so media empires that deliver over 90% of all news to Americans? Is there really an establishment, or are there competing special interests engaged in a slowly escalating war against one another?
There is this narrative that Trump wasn't an establishment politician, however his cabinet picks told a decidedly different story. Has one establishment replaced with another, or is all this drama a show designed to distract us from something else?
