Stolen Valor Navy Fake Sailor

These days, It may seem The term “stolen valor” is becoming so overused. And in some cases that might be true, however, you can tell the NAVY has softened when a Chief Petty Officer can't tell the difference between "an innocent person who doesn’t know any better" and stolen valor. Times have changed, I think the CPOs of today are "stealing Valor" by being Pussies Living off the reputation of the tough as nails, Backbone of the Navy CPOs I feared and respected I just noticed CPO CLIFFORD HENRY was in the Coast Guard, not the NAVY...That explains his attitude.

LCDR Glenn Adwell Sir, when I served in 01, my younger brother asked if he could have a uniform. I bought him one without any patches on it and explained to him the responsibility that comes with wearing that uniform. He made sure never to pass off as a soldier, always wore civilian attire with it to make sure it didn't look too official, and wore it on occasion. His reasining? To support his older brother serving in the Army. At that time ppl would ask if he was a joe, his response was no, but I wear it in support of my brother who is. I think it's possible to wear a uniform. It's the integrity of the individual that gets me when they try to pass it off as being a service member. That's what gets me. I think stollen valor is geared more toward medals, ribbons, and the misrepresentation of enlistment or commission; such as the individual in this video. He blatantly misrepresented himself. That is stollen valor for sure! The wearing of a uniform by civilians mean nothing to me. Put ribbons on it and call yourselves chief, Sgt, CPT, wo, etc... Then there is a problem.

I disagree in this case. This man clearly wearing the entire uniform trying to impersonate. Why, only he knows maybe for the respect military rightfully receive. I like to sport some camo too but Im not trying to be something im not. Im only a civilian, but my son n law is a purple heart recipient and this man is disrespecting. I often regret not serving myself but I respect and honor those who do and tjose who have.
