We need the Glomar Explorer or equivalent to help get the wreckage up and checked out and reassemble the plane and see what happened!

Pretty Impressive the Glomar was and it's single use mission. Too bad it only retrieved part of that Russian Sub.

It is sad it is now a recovery and salvage operation! Though the facts are sketchy, good chance it was not an exploding empty fuel tank like what happened years ago to some Boeing 737s that was later found out was not terrorism. I feel sorry for the family and if its terrorism, its intent is to bring down the Egyptian regime and hurt tourism!

I think you are correct on that very well educated guess. Hurt the Tourist industry hit Egyptians in their Pocketbook.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - It is no accident that the Egyptians protected my parents on a bus, back in the 1990s, that had a cop car with lights and siren in the lead and an armed police officer inside the bus on their way to the Israeli border checkpoint. Its been SOP since the Peace with Israel and many have been killed in bombings on planes and busses some as recently as a few months ago.
