Suicide prevention hotline to have three-digit number for mental health emergencies: 988

New, shorter Suicide Prevention number.

Currently, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline uses a 10-digit number, 800-273-TALK (8255), but soon US residents will be able to call a three-digit number for mental health emergencies: 9-8-8.
