Stay sober, if with drinking or substance problems go to AA or NA. Call military one source or local suicide hotline
https://www.militaryonesource.mil/web/mos/contact-us
You will have strength in numbers when you find out there others who feel like you. You will have the desire to live and sober up or live and talk about it to others who can relate. Those who have been there and suffered will be very empathetic and tell you Aver experiences as well and this will help you and them cope with the PTSD or other issues at afflict you. Admitting that you are helpless is the first step toward recovery!

We have to get a handle on this suicide nightmare. We as Americans are losing to many of our best our young vets and warriors.

Agreed sir especially after they leave the service no one is really tracking them after they leave that's got to change especially for those who have been down rage I don't care who they are they all got be hurting somehow especially concerning are the ones that don't show it and the next time you hear about them their pictures in obituaries from suicide.

Military Service is very stressful on all. When separating from that team mentality they grew with is painful. I really think sometimes that instead of leaving the military and going our own separate ways. Maybe there should be a place where Vet's and Ex-Military can go. Ideas are great but the realities are steep. It would be a massive place like a large town. Costs, how does this all work. Where? Location.
