I have often stated the press, media etc only looks at one side of a very complex issue with the lock down. Suicides rates are 2 to 3 times higher among the unemployed. Drug abuse increases as does drug over doses. Spousal and child abuse increases. The idea the lock down is either save lives or lose lives is ridiculous. Trying to draw the balance is difficult.

Our problem is attention span. After a while, the next crisis occurs and we find existing losses acceptable. For example, seasonal flue has killed over 62,000 so far this season. Almost 200 pediatric.

Thank you for stating the other side of the issue. Either way we lose people...finding the balance is the hard part and when people stomp down on one side of the seesaw, it is hard to do.
