Doctors are now hesistant to give my 6 year old Amoxicillin for a bad cold until they have an x-ray to verify the extent of her chest cold. People not finishing their medications is part of the reason. This is a growing health crisis in the USA as well.

The article mentioned very briefly how 70% of produced antibiotics are fed to livestock. That is the only mention in reference to our food supply. It is not discussed that the ingestion of these antibiotic infused livestock have been transferred to us through consumption, and how that has affected our tolerance levels. More than one health issue looming, this could be a very scary thing!
