I understand that among your posts you have to do some like this, sort of balance...

SGT (Join to see), John Gillespie Magee, Jr., the author of "High Fight" was flying a Spitfire when he died in a mid-air collision on 11 December 1941.
High Flight
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air....
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace.
Where never lark, or even eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
– Put out my hand, and touched the face of God."

I'm sure many of you remember back in the old days when television was actually sign off and go to the Indian style test pattern that just before it they want to the test pattern they would play that LifeLight poem would look like I think it was like I think it was an f-104 Starfighter taking off and then showing the sunset

There were many renditions over the years, LTC (Join to see), and I think many were done by the Department of the Air Force. They were all quite stirring.

Someone forgot to give honorable mention to the Hawker hurricane which I think shot down more planes in the Battle of Britain than the famous and awesome Spitfire. Correct me if I'm wrong and yes and other non left-leaning story that doesn't deal with climate change in fact the more the merrier let's rev up that engine put on the supercharger and gold full power with a hundred and twenty octane leaded gas that makes environmentalist cringe but keeps Pilots alive.
