JOB DESCRIPTION: The Supplier Programs professional will assists SSC Supplier Diversity (SD) in development and approval of Small Business goals, objectives, and plans and they will provide data, reports and briefings on Supplier Diversity (SD) performance, provide SD training to buyers and other cognizant program personnel. Successful candidate will study and analyze documentation and assists in identifying Small Business suppliers to coordinate acquisitions opportunities. Will represents LMC and SSC at SD conferences, forums, and meetings. Serves as the Business Area's point of contact and responds to Supplier's requests for information on how to do business with Lockheed Martin. This position requires an individual who is a self-motivated with excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of SD participation for ongoing and new projects/proposals. The candidate will be required to understand not only the small business laws and goals, but also a solid understanding of the SSC subcontracting process. The applicants should be detail oriented, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work across multiple functional organizations.
