After the Veteran took his own life outside the Long Island VA hospital the other day I heard a lot of backlash about the 22 pushup challenge and how it isn't doing enough. So I am calling on everyone to support Veteran owned businesses to help combat Veteran suicide. Veteran owned businesses hire more Veterans and bringing our brothers and sister back into the community can do a lot to bring that number down from 22 to 0.

I use veteran owned businesses any time I come across them. If there is a hardware store or something nearby that is veteran owned, even if I don't need anything I will go in and "find" something I must have.
