Sir, honestly we're not that smart at all. While I agree with the list to a point, if Americans were REALLY that worried about government corruption, why are we voting in the same people year after year, cycle after cycle knowing these are the same clowns in either party that are doing what we don't want? Why when a fresh of breath air from a new and respected candidate pops up with ideas that go against the grain, they're shunned like lepers, and discredited until the either commit suicide or move to California? Indie I think is the future in politics. I also think that is where I'm headed personally.
The last candidate who represented what I believe in was Joe Gibbs and he was a candidate for the Football HOF. We both hate DallA$$.

SSG Warren Swan Fear of Change...It's hard to consider anything other than what everyone knows as "normal". I don't agree with it either. I was just talking to my husband, as we are finishing up our Absentee ballots

Col Joseph Lenertz I have to agree with the statement they made: “For the See Something, Say Something Campaign to be successful, Americans need to know what they should report–and what not to report,” said Dr. Gordon. “The campaign encourages people to report situations and behavior as possible terrorist or violent acts rather than beliefs, thoughts, ideas, expressions, associations or speech unrelated to criminal activity. More education is needed. Our survey indicates Americans are more likely to report a shoplifter than a terrorist." We need to educate civilians on terrorism from the experiences of the military and what many of us have seen overseas. I can tell you those recent IED placements in New York and New Jersey have me concerned. Civilians won't really understand that apprehension to that, and how they should be more aware of their surroundings.

On a side note clowns were 2nd to last which is surprising given all the Clown sightings...

I agree on your point regarding people's willingness to report terrorism vs shoplifting. LOL on the clowns. I think most don't take them very seriously.

I agree on the education part, where it would be sticky is the military recognizes terrorism as an outside entity we would engage on foreign soil. Plus the military definition is different than the FBI's, CIA, and State Dept's definitions. Let the states take the lead on teaching what terrorism is according to the constitution, and the states definition and their constitution. Domestic terrorism is where the State dept and the States themselves should focus. They would do a better job.

Out of all this, I fear economic and financial collapse, and inadequate funds the most.

A very real possibility. The Fed has turned its interest rate lever all the way left (effectively zero prime) and the digital creation of dollars almost all the way right, and has avoided inflation only because the dollar is still the safest bet in town. As the % of GDP toward interest grows though, that confidence erodes, and inflation will come.
