This is a look at some aspects of the Wagner Group - which is a mercenary/contractor element that many have seen in the news recently. They are operating in more places than just the Ukraine and Syria... and that may be a surprise to some.

Russia's version of Blackwater, except they are more expeditionary.
You first saw them as "volunteers" to support separatist actions in Ukraine and likely in Georgia.

They are used more as traditional mercs have been used - and in a few ways perhaps they have not been used. Hard to call them contractors though.. merc is much better term for what they do.
