Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for the reminder that Joseph Haydn returned to Vienna from England on August 20, 1795. Those were perilous time for traveling on the continent after the French Revolution began in 1789. Between 1793 and 1797 the First Coalition was established in an attempt to defeat the forces of the French following the French Revolution of 1789. It comprised Spain, Holland, Austria, Prussia, England and Sardinia.
