@po1 William "Chip" Nagel interesting article. Meeting a woman in a Hijab is a good time to engage that filter between the brain and mouth. Would you think someone brain damaged if they asked you? Don't ask. It is one thing to ask questions about a person's faith in an effort to understand the diversity that is this nation. It is something else entirely to minimize a piece of religious attire to a superficial fashion statement. As far as bravery goes, that is a bit of a stretch. Dedication to one's faith, absolutely, but bravery, not so much. As she said it is a choice. Nobody in America regardless of faith, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or any other superficial character deserves to be attacked for it. Variety is the spice of life. Exploring other cultures without leaving our country is part of what makes America beautiful.
