Silliness...this is a K-3 law and this information is not appropriate for a classroom at this level.

I absolutely agree as even some adults cannot process the variability of the human experience.

Ok, the bill bans something that already wasn't in the K-3 curriculum in any Florida school. The problem is that it goes on to prohibit discussing the subject if it somehow comes up in class. We've obviously had lots of local media coverage and many of the teachers interviewed have said that 'why does so-and-so have two mommys, or daddys', isn't an uncommon question at the K-3 level. Right now the interpretation of the law is that teachers can say nothing, that's not learning!

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Excellent point Colonel,
Perhaps this section would cover this; the teacher would exclaim some kids have two Daddy’s (Mommies). No further explanation would be necessary. They could ask their parents for further explanation if they haven’t already.
Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.

What a crock of crap and the lies never stop. This covers kindergarten to third grades and allows parents authority over their children. The word gay isn’t even in the bill.

Some of you are really, really hypocritical. You say that it's "not appropriate" to talk about sexuality with young kids but you all sexualize your kids on a daily basis.

How many times have any of you said or heard someone say about their child: "Ooh he's gonna be a heartbreaker watch out ladies?" Or when you have kids the same age as friends' kids "oh they're future boyfriend and girlfriend." Or the fact there are clothes for INFANTS that say "heartbreaker" or other things?

Let's add in the emotional incest that exists for some people - mothers who talk about their sons as equal to a partner and say things like "I feel bad for when my son brings home a girl or woman because she has to compete with me." And there are dads like that. Look at Andrew Giuliani and the disgusting comments he just made about his FOUR MONTH OLD daughter:
https://news.yahoo.com/andrew-giuliani-tells-4-month-021100801.html

He's "looked under the hood." And said he "made a promise" with his four month old daughter and "shook hands" that he is her "only boyfriend' until she's 25.

But you're worried about if a child brings up to a teacher thoughts on their sexuality? You're worried about schools teaching kids about boundaries? Really?

This bill also, do you realize, means that NO ONE can talk about sexuality at school. Not even heterosexual people. So heterosexual teachers cannot talk about their marriages, partnerships any of that.
