It's all politics, in 2007 Chuck Schumer wanted to block all appointments under Bush, now he is blasting Cruz for doing the same thing. All hypocrites, all criminals, and all politicians.

Oh so very true everybody plays the game. But forgot they fought the other side before. That is why term limits should be in place

I agree. The criminals that sold out country out to internationals crime syndicates are in fighting for power.

I see no reason to recuse himself. Why should he? I have heard no other talk of anyone else needing to do the same. And you can count of Reid and Schumer will show their butts about the Republicans not allowing a vote on a new justice. But i expect the Republicans will cave as usual.

So I guess you are saying the republicans are the only ones who don't whine. Interesting ! A judge should be vetted instead..

I know that both partys whine like children. Cruz is a setting Senator so he should be allowed to vote.

So what's the difference if it were a sitting President and a potential candidate vetting a nominee. Both seem to serve their own interests. He hasn't even clinched the Republican nomination. So doesn't make sense to me but that's politics for ya.

True, they make up ficticious rules and say the other side has to abide by them. But do they??

No neither side does. They want to cry foul when it's not going their way. But if it is does they make up exaggerated facts to support the decision. Just because you can argue it doesn't make it a valid point.
