Open borders? Is this the solution for countries like the United States or Germany? Just two years ago citizens across Europe and often America were proclaiming the benefits of open borders. The results in Europe and Greece have been negative if correlated to the number of attacks on domestic citizens. So the question is what is the benefit of open borders or secure controlled borders?

The short of it....Without controlled Borders you do NOT have control of your Country, End of conversation !!! I think this is blatantly obvious.

I agree, secure and controlled border. In America we have a "controlled" and patrolled border, but something about secure is missing.

Many American leaders are still proclaiming the benefits of open borders. Of course, their friends in the media are suppressing stories of the problems in Europe so they can continue extolling these virtues. Would they if the facts were more generally known by Americans?
