It's a way off so let's see where things go from here. I do know that the Cummins stock went down when this was announced. Lots of pro's and a lot of con's on this one.

Most trunk runs are within this things range. long haul will depend on infrastructure for charging and how long that takes. If Musk's cost numbers are right , companies ;like Cummings need to start looking for other business before it is too late. Cost per mile is everything in that businesses.
The fact that they do nor spew diesel fumes is also a bonus, but one that I do not expect to be taken into consideration by business.
