Texas' big new gun law: Is the state a model for modern open carry?

I wonder how the new open carry rules in Texas are going over? I did do some research and if you have a Concealed Weapon Permit (or whatever your state calls them) from Arizona (which Texas recognizes meaning I can carry a concealed weapon in Texas), you can also legally open carry in Texas even if you are not a Texas resident.

The Left Coast and the Liberal North East will never allow it. They blame guns not the criminals that misuse them. I am a realist not an idealist and recognize that you can't win an argument with a Liberal POS. They want good people to be dependent upon the government for protection although thier politicians have armed body guards.

I somewhat agree with you if a man carries a gun in violation of the law you should go to jail for 20 years and don’t give me any of that stuff about it was an accident
