Guess some of us thought White on White crime isn't a real issue in America since there is no White Lives Matter movement. So where is the outrage by the White America and Blue Lives Matter community, the president, the administration, and so on the moment they saw the picture of the shooter?
But to say it's not newsworthy when it has received plenty of news coverage in regards to legal gun carry on Texas college campuses thanks to recent Texas law that went into effect; add the question how does a person in handcuffs inside the police station get ahold of a gun. Not to mention, recent Vegas shooting has gun control debate on most people's minds.

MAJ James Woods Part of the problem was he was not in handcuffs. Second was he was not frisked for dangerous weapons. At least as reported by the Police Chief. I am not a LE, but I thought that would be protocol to frisk and handcuff anyone you do a health and comfort on, and they decide to transport them to the station. Especially, since drugs were involved....

LT Brad McInnis - Initial reports had him in custody in handcuffs and no confirmation of ever being searched; that is why I made that comment. Now that updates are saying he wasn't in cuffs but he was still in custody inside the station and it should be concerning if they indeed failed to search him.

There was plenty of news coverage on this. Looks like the officer failed to follow procedure, and paid for it with his life. Maybe reverse profiling? Didn't think his suspect posed a threat because he was white? We probably won't know why procedure wasn't followed, just that it wasn't.

SSgt Gary Andrews Yeah I would think that a person being taken to a police station suspected of a crime would be in handcuffs, and already searched. I haven't seen or read any news coverage of this, but the first thing I would think they would have done is made sure a suspect wasn't armed.

SCPO (Join to see) First I hope the family of the fallen officer is taken care of by the University. Second, Texas has the Death Penalty, I hope they use it on this shitswizzler. Third, outrage only comes from publicity. Publicity only comes when the media thinks there is money in a story. Money in a story comes from it "going viral" So it will generate outrage the more it is shared around.
