"SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Contributions Legally Interdicted
from Noncitizens To Our Nonprofits Act of 2016'' or as the ``CLINTON
Act of 2016''.
SEC. 2. CERTAIN CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS PROHIBITED FOR ACCEPTING
CONTRIBUTIONS FROM PERSONS CONNECTED TO FOREIGN
GOVERNMENTS."

Dumb question on my part but....why would they name this the Clinton act? Even if this passes, it will take years to enact and by then, the name "Clinton" when associated with the Government may be long gone.

SPC James Harsh - I just think that with all the mud slinging going around, this type of thing; labeling a bill with the Clinton (or the Trump name) is just a waste of time and resources. While the bill has good intentions, all that will be lost in the media coverage and just result in more fodder for SNL.

The Clintons have violated just about every law and act and statute in the Books... But they are above the laws of the land and the laws don't apply to them...
