Waiting to participate in a Veterans Day Parade, a young Soldier approached me saying, "Hey, Big Red One!" He said he'd been in 1st Infantry Division five years & had commanded a brigade -- then I saw a star on his chest & realized he was a brigadier general. He was nice enough to pose for a photograph with me.
