I will tell you a cool thing about Marine gear. I was standing in line to get my driver’s license in 2008. Two Marine corporals got in line behind me in dress blue charlies. I said to the one: “My DOR to corporal is November 1, 1975 and I cannot tell any difference whatsoever in what I wore then and what you have on now.”

I wish the Army would adopt the Corps waterproof bag - that piece of equipment is light years ahead of the Army's sad excuse for a waterproof bag.
