McCain is a man who has gained a lot of respect on both sides of the aisle and who has put country first before party.

SSG Stephen Arnold - Always a tough point to find agreement on. I too could pick out lots of things he did I don't agree with him on. He was willing to split with his party leadership if he disagreed. Then again, at times he didn't split with them when I thought he should. Perhaps I generally just respect him.

I am so sorry he is going through this. I have always thought him an honorable man and an American hero. Besides being just a great human being.
