Excellent summary. Capitalism becomes crony capitalism. Lack of regulation led to monopolies, low wages and bad worker conditions. Progressive movement brought labor unions which led to mercenary militias as enforcers. Eventually government regulation attempted to right the ship but advancement in technology creates a disadvantage. Today politicians remain corrupt as deregulation becomes a priority, wages are stagnant, income inequality grows, “right to work” anti union laws, wealth is monopolized by those that preach Ayn Rand or Economic Social Darwinism.

MAJ James Woods just like any man made organization there needs to be a kind of reformation to reeavaluate the methods and goals happened for religion may need to happen to our democratic institutions.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen that's why when people these days want unregulated free market capitalism some of the folks saying that I question there knowledge because they are middle class citizens who would benefit the least out of this outcome.
