The Amazing Saga Of How Israel Turned Its F-15s Into Multi-Role Bombers

I'm not surprised they'd think of that, I think I'd seen similar stuff elsewhere, kind like all the F-4 variants during Vietnam....

The F15 is a great fighter plane. It's a shame that the US Air Force is always chasing the latest and greatest (i.e. the F35), when the F15 can do so much, for so little money compared to the F35.

As seems to be typical for the Israeli Air Force they have taken a good viable aircraft and made improvements on it to make it even more capable and in this case take on additional mission capability. They always seem to make very good use of their assets and also put their best pilots in the seat of these aircraft to even further enhance the capability of their air to air or air to ground combat assets. Yes, they have again done an amazing job maintaining their air superiority over those that may seek to attempt to do them harm.
