The military like every organization, goes through cycles of being up or down. I believe the military will endure and keep our country safe. As a Marine, we are taught to endure and overcome any and all challenges. I have faith that the warrior culture is alive and well.

I'm with you Brother! Soon, we will have a change in the White House and when that happens, hang on because we are in for a ride. Everything goes in cycles and once we get that guy, see, I'm being nice now, out of Office, things will get back on track where they belong! The Worrier Culture will never die. We will adapt and overcome!

What a bunch of crap. Almost all of it is total BS, but the sentence that captures it best is when he says "if the three women who SUPPOSEDLY graduated from Ranger school did it honestly..." He's impugning the integrity of the NCOs and officers of the Ranger Dept, and particularly that of MG Miller, the Ft Benning CG, when he said the standards did not change and the women earned their tabs just like everyone else.

Here's a little portion of MG Miller's bio. I think this is an officer who knows far more about the Warrior Culture than this author, and is someone who would not hesitate to maintain the standards and let the results speak for themselves. I sincerely doubt that a man who earned a bronze star with V device in Somalia with Delta and later commanded it would not have the interest and viability of the military as his overriding priority. The accusation by the author that General Miller lied about the standards being the same is pathetic. IMO this article is total bullshit.

"Miller commanded Delta Force, the Army’s elite and secretive counter-terrorism unit. In October 1993 as captain, he was the Delta ground commander during the Battle of Mogadishu, the subject of a book and movie entitled “Black Hawk Down.” He has served combat tours in Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He comes to Fort Benning from Afghanistan where he commanded a NATO special operations joint task force that worked with the Afghan police."

As long as the military is allowed to perform, nothing is "Doomed". All the PC stuff will run its course and either the warrior culture will continue to survive at the expense of those who should not be in positions they are not capable of carrying out. Many ADs and former combat vets have lots of confidence in what is happening with regard to eliminating gender from qualifications, despite my misgivings, I bow to them in this matter. They have to carry the load, if this experiment fails.
