Since when did the mission take back seat to religious accommodation and personal preference? Enough of this crap. You cannot fight in a chemical or biological hazardous environment if you are dead or incapacitated due to a leaky mask, period. Unless the mission specifies a beard for unique circumstances, you shave your mug. Feel free to disagree, but you better be able to articulate how a beard, in general, is not a risk in CBRN environments. I could care less what the Dutch or any other military does. They are not the US Military. I hope to God Gen Mattis puts an end to this BS.

Too bad I can`t grow one if I tried. What takes me 2 months most guys could grow in a week. Unless there`s a secret I don`t know about.?.

we already have too many males that keep their facial hair or grooming within regulation now. this is just going to add to those not in standards.
