The Army is supposed to be growing, but this year, it didn’t at all

Most of the population doesn't qualify. Of those that do, only a small percentage actually want to enlist. There is a big cultural disconnect in that a lot of people still see the military as a last resort for those too poor or too stupid to go to college.

Plus, HQDA recently closed off a large number of categories we were allowed to waiver. Big army can't have it both ways.

Recruiter / Drill Sgt? Any debate as which to choose?
