Very sad news that 42-year old Canadian composer, singer and pianist Richard Manuel hanged himself from a shower curtain rod in a in a motel bathroom near Orlando, Florida. "His wife Arlie screamed Arlie found him hanging from a shower rod in the bathroom. Her screams brought [Levon] Helm and [Rick] Danko. They struggled to get him down but it was too late."
