Every immigrant group and ethnicity has been the object of prejudice, marginalization and taken advantage of...it's good to know the truth of our past so it is not repeated. Most have never heard and if they did, wouldn't understand the meaning behind the song, "I sold my soul to the Company store". It's unfortunate that some think that they own the dark history of our past. I for one am glad that the conditions changed and I hope that they continue to improve for all who call America their home.
