Thank you my friend LTC (Join to see) for posting the unsurprising news that "with Keystone XL shelved, two Alberta towns are lamenting the loss of hundreds of workers and the economic stimulus they brought with them. Parts of the expanded pipeline, which was to run from Alberta to Nebraska, began construction last year in Hardisty. A section connecting it to Oyen was set to be installed this year, until U.S. President Joe Biden revoked the project’s permit on Wednesday, January 21, 2021.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney reacted Wednesday to the announcement that U.S. President Joe Biden signed an executive order to revoke the permit that would allow the Keystone XL pipeline expansion project to continue, saying he was "deeply disturbed" and calling it an “insult directed at the United States’ most important ally and trading partner.”

Talk about stupidity even thinking of shutting that down ! Nothing like burning down the bridges right off with a good neighbor to the North with major Oil reserves. Nothing like undoing what was a major accomplishment within the last 4 years. major employment resulting also on both sides of the border. Oil to export or use here on a joint Canadian US venture. Add expense though by letting illegals in mass into the country and drain money out instead. Maybe He better rethink some of these proposed moronic moves !

SSG Samuel Kermon
Canada may be a problem in some ways but they understand that the pipeline was needed by both nations.

Our government will get sued for breech of contract and it will cost us more and the jobs will still be gone on both sides of the border
