I read the book "Colditz" many years ago and seem to remember a part in the book where British POWs built a glider in attic space although never flown I think it was part of many escape plans very interesting story

Very loosely based lol highly fictionalized it was obviously never flown though there is a surviving photo I just never found out who on the film crew learned of the true story lol...
