Aviation History 6 Oct 1976 Cubana Flight 455, a DC-8 (registered CU-T1201) crashed shortly after takeoff out of Bridgetown, Barbados after two bombs exploded, killing all 73 on-board. The bombs were placed by men who were said to have connections to the CIA and anti-Castro Venezuelan Secret Police.
