They have tours through the Boneyard out of the Pima Air & Space Museum. Absolutely worth it if you're in the area and it's right off of I-10. DM was one of my best assignments.

SFC William Farrell - It takes up a large portion of the base so you can drive around and get close to the fence. However, to get into the boneyard itself, the tour is the only way that I know of that is easy -- or someone that works at AMARG can take you for a tour. There are some incredible things in there, even some airframes that are prototypes. Lack of humidity down there makes it an excellent place for airframe storage.

It is a great place to tour. When I was stationed there, we took a tour almost every month. It is that impressive!

Thats what I would have thought. My twin brother lived in Scottsdale for years and he's sorry he never toured it. We are both on the east coast and I know I do hope ot get out there; as I said to someone else its on my bucket list!
