I expect that your conscience has guided you to do what is right since you were young. Hopefully, your conscience is clean since the HOLY Spirit renews your mind periodically as he transforms us. No doubt as you matured you have learned to say what is right without offense intended. I pray you and I are becoming more compassionate and kinder in response to the involuntary changes we having to adapt to through the sanctification of our soul. ‘For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.’ [Romans 8:13-14 ESV] my brother-in-Christ COL Mikel J. Burroughs

I pray that YOU bless each adopted son and daughter of God who reads or listens to this prayer with sufficient fruit of the Spirit: goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and grace. I hope you and I submit our plans to the LORD and do not resist any changes HE makes to our plans, goals and agenda. I thank YOU LORD for sanctifying the soul of each of us. YOU guide us step by step throughout our life on this earth. You prepare us through challenges and trials as YOU mature us in YOUR perfect timing. ‘Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.’ [James 1:12 ESV]
I lift disabled veterans, disabled servicemen, disabled policemen and women, disabled firefighters, disabled children, disabled adult family members and their family members to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless each one with a large measure of endurance and hope. I pray that YOU guide the mind and hands of each one throughout their care and at home. I pray that YOU guide the mind and hands of each person treating, ministering to, preparing for surgery, operating on, assisting recovery for, and transporting to and from appointments. ‘Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.’ [Psalm 23:4-5 ESV]
LORD I lift those clinging to hope, the grieving widows, widowers and orphans, the homeless at risk of injury and illness to YOU. I pray that YOU provide comfort and a large measure of hope and love to each one tonight. I pray that YOU guide trustworthy individuals to encourage and comfort and prayer warriors to intercede for each one. ‘So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.’ [Philippians 2:1-4 ESV]
The LORD admonishes each of us that humility and service to others is the higher level of human excellence patiently.
c. ‘rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.’ [Ephesians 6:7-8 ESV]
d. ‘but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint. [Isaiah 40:31 ESV].
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Saturday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Over 8,000 miles booked already with Day 16 in the history books. Arrived in Plymouth, MN just in time for lunch with two great warriors that I’ve had the pleasure of deploying with and serving with in the military MAJ Brian Schoonover and COL John Rosnow!

Good Saturday morning Col Burroughs and Posse. Glad to see you are still riding safely my brother!
This is a good topic. We all have the ability to steer ourselves in the direction we wish to go. Sometimes we've passed the ideal exit but that doesn't mean we need to continue on a road that isn't a good one for us. We can still get off, slow down, perhaps shift lanes in preparation for a change in direction. Think about it, even if you haven't steered well in one area of your life, you can certainly do better faith-wise or perhaps in your social connections by joining up with your fellow veterans. Even a small change in the wheel can make a significant change in our lives.
