Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. We had lots of thunder last night but no rain yet, unfortunately. It does seem a bit cooler this morning and I am hopeful we will see those showers later on today.
Don't hurry. I find that when I do, I often end up either redoing something or regretting what I did. It saves time and energy in the long run if I take my time and work things through adequately and conscientiously. It always reminds me of that saying...the faster I go, the behinder I get...
That hurrying rarely pays off in a positive way.

I hope you take sufficient time to consider your options and the direct effects as well as second-order ramifications of decisions you make. No doubt you submit your plans to the LORD periodically and respond to HIS guidance quickly. I expect you make a serious effort to count the cost of each option you consider before you make your decisions. ‘For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’. Luke 14:28-30 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown

I pray that each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters is content with our situation, status, and prospects for the near-term future. I am thankful LORD that YOU mature us and stretch each of us through challenges, periods of waiting, and periodic disappointment. YOU love us more than we can understand. As the Perfect Father, YOU discipline each of us, admonish each of us, and sanctify each of us by YOUR perfect love. ‘Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.’ [Philippians 4:11-12 ESV]
Lord I lift widows, widowers, orphans, the guiltless imprisoned, those afflicted with PTSD and mental illness, the demoralized, the depressed, the seriously ill, and the ostracized to YOU LORD as well as those who love them and those who minister to them. I pray that YOU bless each of us with strength through our weakness, endurance though our patience, humility, and biblical love in place of childishness. ‘Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. [1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV]
I am thankful LORD that YOU designed each of us to physically, emotionally and mentally heal. By YOUR grace we build up immune responses to what we are exposed to as a general rule. YOU empower us to grieve loss and gently heal after sufficient time. I pray that YOU bless the individuals and teams working to develop the vaccines and treatments for the variants of SARS-CoV-2 and related diseases with knowledge, patience, and sufficient skill to understand what needs to be done and the endurance to do what needs to be done, step by step. ‘For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up. [Ecclesiastes 8:1-3 ESV]
I lift the legislators and elected officials who believe that taxation revenue funds are the fiefdom of the federal and state government to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU make it clear that their focus on mammon, political power and influence will lead to their downfall. I pray that many of them will repent while there is time. For those who won’t, I pray YOU will sift them like wheat. ‘'The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things, and they ridiculed him. And he said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.' [Luke 16:14-15 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Thursday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Friday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

The right way anyway, instead of rushing in and scewing it all up... Thanks GySgt Thomas Vick...

“Try not to be in a big hurry today or any day – take your time to reflect on your current situation, review what is ahead of you, and remember the great memories you created yesterday. It okay to do things quickly once you are ready to proceed on a project or objective, but don’t be in a hurry to get it done this minute. With all the negative thoughts being presented in the world, don’t be too quick to judge or in a hurry to take a position. Think it through and do your research – get all the facts. That leads me to this quote…

‘Never be in a hurry; do everything quickly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if the whole world seems upset.’ — St. Francis de Sales

May you have the patience and fortitude to never be in a hurry but be methodical, organized, and coordinated in your decision-making process; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Great advice PO2 (Join to see) once you've evaluated it and come up with all the 2nd and 3rd affects oof your final decision, you can move quickly at that point - just my thoughts Jeffrey...
