Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. It's a beautiful day here. Sometimes when we are having difficulties it is difficult to remain optimistic and to believe that tomorrow or the next day will be better. Each day we make choices about what we will fill our heads and hearts with...if we don't have the courage to let go of the negative, we won't have room for the positive that is yet to come. Do you want to stay where you are or do you want to open yourself to the possibilities that tomorrow holds?

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Nicely stated this morning - thank you for the additonal quotes and wisdom...

“Have that attitude each day when you get started that the best is yet to come…

‘Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.’ – Zig Ziglar

May you find the best yet to come on those roads yet traveled that will bring peace and happiness; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect you are optimistic about the future of yourself and your family. No doubt you are content with your situation, and enduring the current political situation, and you are striving to improve for the good of your family, friends, and hopefully neighbors. God is in control of each aspect of creation including what you and your family, your neighborhood and this nation is going through. It is wise to thank the LORD for the good and the bad we experience. Seek HIS will for YOU when YOU are going through challenges. ‘And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.’ [Romans 8:27-28 ESV], my sister-in Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I lift each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters to YOU LORD. I am grateful for sanctification as YOU transform our soul into the best reflection of YOUR spirit. I pray for sufficient thankfulness, faithfulness and goodness for each of us. Use each of us dear LORD to bless each person we interact with. Let YOUR light cleanse us of any impurity as we demonstrate faith in you. I pray that YOU guide us to encourage those who are disappointed, sad, and those whose life has been disrupted by crisis including significant health issues. Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.’ [James 5:13-15:31 ESV].
I lift service members and veterans with bad memories including nightmares of being deployed to sandy areas of the world including southwest Asia & north and sub-Saharan Africa and swamps and jungles including southeast Asia. LORD I pray that YOU deliver those with repetitive nightmares and enable them each to sleep peacefully. ‘Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.’ [Proverbs 3:23-24 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Tuesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Wednesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “Tuesday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the puffy clouds of the Greater Boston Area today...

Today’s Message is: “The Best is Yet to Come Day!” Why Not?

"I have my own unique road that has had many exciting ups and heartbreaking downs, but one thing I know is that my journey is not over and the best is yet to come." - Ryan Hall

"You are more than you appear to be - Life is greater than you have ever known it - The best is yet to come." - Ernest Holmes

"You can't reach your potential by remaining in a past due season. Your breakthrough is coming. Strongholds are breaking. Get Ready!" - Germany Kent

"No pit is so deep that He is not deeper still; with Jesus even in our darkest moments, the best remains and the very best is yet to be." - Corrie Ten Boom

"All endings are inexorably tied to new beginnings. That's the nature of the journey. It continues to unfold. It builds on itself. It can't help itself from doing that... But still, the best is yet to come." - Melody Beattie

And as we move through the various stages of life, remember well that...

“In leadership there are good days, bad days, and the days you have to embrace the ‘suck!’ But during this journey you always have to have the attitude that the best is yet to come.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
