I hope you recognize that it is by God’s grace alone that you and I have skills, talents and knowledge. No doubt you understand that each person is equal in value in the LORD’s perfect view of humanity. I hope and pray that each of us encourage those who look up to us for leadership, guidance and advice. LORD thank YOU for maturing us. 'Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." [Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV] my brother-in-Christ SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.

I pray for an increase of the fruit of the Holy Spirit agape [selfless] love, peace, and self-control for each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads or listens to this prayer. I thank YOU LORD Holy Spirit for dwelling with the soul of each of who are YOUR adopted sons and daughters. I expect that are true to your principles and that you dedicated to doing what is right whether or not anybody else is looking. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.’ [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
LORD I pray for clarity of purpose and focus for each of us in our daily walk of faith. YOU alone know what the future holds for each of in this life. Give us ears to hear what YOU Holy Spirit know we should do. Thank YOU for sanctifying the soul of each of us as YOU prepare us to face future challenges and trials. ‘Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.’ [Proverbs 19:21 ESV]
I pray that you and I are becoming more compassionate and kinder in response to the involuntary changes you have been forced to adapt to. I lift the trustworthy and solid character government, military, business, & industry leaders, administrators and managers to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU bless each one with sufficient knowledge, skill and wisdom to lead those who rely on them. I pray that YOU bless each with trustworthy people to work with them and in support of them. I pray that YOU motivate each one to use their time, talents and resources to bless as many as they should. ‘What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.’ [James 2:14-17 ESV]
I lift the most vulnerable in society to YOU LORD the preborn children, those preborn diagnosed at risk of autism, gender risk of abortion and all others at high risk. I pray that YOU convict and turn the heart of President Biden, his wife Jill and Vice President Harris away from supporting induced abortion towards supporting life. 'For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.' [Psalm 139:13-14a ESV]
I pray that you and I heed the admonition of the LORD that humility and service to others is the highest level of human excellence.
a. ‘rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.’ [Ephesians 6:7-8 ESV]
b. ‘but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint. [Isaiah 40:31 ESV].
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Monday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs here is an ICONIC PICTURE OF VICTORY DAY IN NEW YORK CITY DURING WWII.

V-J Day in Times Square is a photograph by Alfred Eisenstaedt that portrays a U.S. Navy sailor embracing and kissing a total stranger[1]—a dental assistant—on Victory over Japan Day ("V-J Day")[2] in New York City's Times Square on August 14, 1945. The photograph was published a week later in Life magazine, among many photographs of celebrations around the United States that were presented in a twelve-page section entitled "Victory Celebrations".[3] A two-page spread faces a montage of three similar photographs of celebrators in Washington, D.C., Kansas City, and Miami, opposite the Eisenstaedt photograph that was given a full-page display on the right hand side.

Eisenstaedt was photographing a spontaneous event that occurred in Times Square during keen public anticipation of the announcement of the end of the war with Japan (that would be made by U.S. President Harry S. Truman at seven o'clock). Eisenstaedt said that he did not have an opportunity to get the names and details, because he was photographing rapidly changing events during the celebrations.[4] The photograph does not clearly show the face of either person involved, and numerous people have claimed to be the subjects. The photograph was shot just south of Forty-fifth Street looking north from a location where Broadway and Seventh Avenue converge. Donald W. Olson and his investigative team estimate that the photograph was taken at 5:51 p.m. ET.[5] In their history pages, Life has noted that the Eisenstaedt photograph was taken with a Leica IIIa camera

Fun fact, the guy in whites just about at the USN sailor's elbow in my wife's Uncle Carlie. He was serving in the Merchant Marine. Eisenstaedt also captured my Aunt Esther and Uncle John saying their goodbyes in either Grand Central or Penn Station. They were the cover a few years earlier.
