Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. I hope all of you who need to do so are digging out safely!
Sometimes we need to depend on what we cannot see. Just because something is invisible to the eye doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Our souls, our beliefs, our spirits, love, faith, kindness...all are not visible "things" but few would deny their existence or their impact. Sometimes what we "see" when we close our eyes is more important than what we "see" with them open.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Great thoughts today Charlie - I hope you're doing okay and eveything is alright, we missed you at the VFV Board Meeting last night. Thanks for the great quotes today and here are some final thoughts on the topic of "invisible."

“Invisible can take on many meanings today, but I wanted to focus on the invisible leader who makes this happen when no one is looking because of their character and integrity. The leader that can influence others and the organization without being noticed. That is a strong leader that builds confidence and provides vision.

‘There is an invisible strength within us; when it recognizes two opposing objects of desire, it grows stronger.’ — Rumi

May you have that invisible strength in your heart and mind to do good things for others; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. The other thing I think about when it comes to invisible, is the Invisible wounds and disabilities that our veterans, service members, caretakers, and first responders deal with and live with each day. They need and deserve our daily support. Out invisible prayers will help in so many ways and our volunteer actions will speak volumes.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I hope that you and I are spiritually and emotionally mature enough to focus our energies, time and resources on helping others without drawing attention to ourselves. I expect you understand, appreciate, and actually demonstrate love to neighbors as a demonstration of your love to God. God loves us more than we can understand. 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.' [John 3:16 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for an increase of selflessness in each of us dear LORD. I thank YOU for sanctifying the soul each adopted son and daughter into the perfect reflection of YOU dear LORD. YOU accept us as we are and transform us by YOUR grace. Each one of us were in desperate need to salvation for our own wickedness which we were blinded to. YOU opened our eyes at salvation and YOU justified us from past, present and future sins. YOU alone are worthy of praise, glory and honor above all. ‘Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. [1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV]
I lift elected officials, appointed officials, judges, leaders of business, industry, military, and informal leaders as well as leaders of families to YOU LORD. I pray for an increase of humility in each of us. I pray for a change of focus from negative to positive. I pray that each of us accepts responsibility for our own actions and decisions and stops blaming predecessors and subordinates who acted on our guidance. ‘Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.’ [Ephesians 4:31-32 ESV]
I pray that leaders of communities from neighborhood through national are focusing on what should be done. I pray that YOU bless each who acknowledges YOU as Lord with wisdom to develop approaches to solving the complex problems facing their jurisdictions and the people who live or work within that area. 'For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another." [Galatians 5:13-15 ESV]
I pray for an abundance of hope, peace and ability to sleep well for each widow, widower, homeless person, those suffering from PTSD, those suffering from severe burns, and any who are devoid of hope this evening dear LORD. ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.’ [Jeremiah 29:11-13 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Tuesday night and awoke refreshed and healthy on Wednesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “Tuesday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the warm winds of SW Florida...

It is: “Invisible Day!” Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..................... I can't see anyone! Are you there?

"Ninety-nine per cent of who you are is invisible and untouchable." R. Buckminster Fuller

"Some things that are invisible and untouchable can nevertheless be seen and felt." - Michael Chabon

Everyone has an invisible sign hanging from their neck saying, Make me feel important. Never forget this message when working with people." - Mary Kay Ash

"People who don't appreciate your presence, only deserve your absence." - Alexander Auron

"It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances. The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible." - Oscar Wilde

Everything in the universe has a purpose. Indeed, the invisible intelligence that flows through everything in a purposeful fashion is also flowing through you. Wayne Dyer

Then there are those who may seem invisible, but know this...

“The invisible leader is someone who make transformative changes and brings influence with a positive impact to the team and to others without being noticed!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

The invisible leader, like Adam Smith's invisible hand. This is a cool idea. Smith's invisible hand rested on the truism that people will work hardest and smartest in their own interest. An invisible leader would get subordinate buy-in to the goal, or the mission, inspiring them to excel in their own self-interest (to achieve the goal they have adopted), and thereby helping their utmost to insure the mission is accomplished. Cool beans.

Act with benevolent self-interest today, RallyPoint!
