In the medical facility will check back after
So here goes. Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. Another item off the checklist.
One of my favorite response quotes comes from Victor Frankl who survived what so many did not; paraphrased--there is a space/time between what is going on and what you choose to do about it, use that and make your response an appropriate one. Sometimes there is simply no right quick response to something. Take the time to breathe before you respond.
As I said back a week or so ago...a good place for the 2-2-2 rule. Don't respond to things or people who won't matter in the long run.

I expect that you are aware that you may not be responsible for what happens to you and yet we are responsible for how we respond. No doubt you understand that our response can improve a situation, leave it in neutral [lukewarm] or make it worse. I hope and pray that you and I always intend to improve situations that we find ourselves in. 'The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit.' [Ecclesiastes 7:8] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for an increase in confidence in YOU LORD and humility for each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters dear LORD. I thank YOU for defining our character through tests and trials as the proverbial dross is removed in the heat of battle – spiritual. YOU consistently demonstrate love for and acceptance of each of us through YOUR discipline and admonishment dear LORD. ‘My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.’ [Proverbs 3:11-12 ESV]
I lift elected officials, appointed officials, judges, leaders of business, industry, military, and informal leaders as well as leaders of families to YOU LORD. I pray for consistent trustworthiness and open and honest communication for each official, leader, and judge who is YOUR adopted child and those who are close friends of YOUR adopted sons and daughters. I pray that each leader and judge is respectful in conversation and answering questions, asking questions and handing down decisions. 'Pay to all what is owed to them - taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed. [Romans 13:7 ESV]
I pray that leaders of communities from neighborhood through national to international corporations are focusing on improving communications with those in their community as well as neighbors from neighborhood through international. I pray for confidence for decision makers and willingness to accept responsibility for their actions, mistakes, and lack of timely action. Motivate each to share responsibility of success and absorb responsibility for failure and resolve to do better for those they serve. 'So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." [Matthew 7:12 ESV]
I lift each widow, widower, homeless person, those suffering from PTSD, those suffering from severe burns, and any who are devoid of hope this evening to YOU dear LORD. I pray for an increase in responding to the needs of each one and better communication of needs and timing of meeting the needs with integrity. 'do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' [Philippians 4:6-7 ESV]
I pray that each spouse who is an adopted son or daughter of God takes to heart the admonition of the LORD. ‘This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.' [Ephesians 5:32-33]
Confession, repentance, and forgiveness bless those injured in deed or by word as well as the offender who repents and is forgiven. 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness' [1 John 1:9 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Wednesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Thursday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “Wednesday & Hump Day” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader on this "Hump" day! I hope that you are all shoveled out from that two feet of snow that piled up!

It is: “Responses Day!” Responses can take many forms... How do you respond to people?

MY QUOTE:
"One's response not only reflects the issue at hand either positively or negatively, but reflects directly on the one giving a response as to how that response is received. Think before you speak." - Kerry F. Harkins - March 17, 2021

"Look at the word responsibility-"response-ability"-the ability to choose your response. Highly proactive people recognize that responsibility. They do not blame circumstances, conditions, or conditioning for their behavior. Their behavior is a product of their own conscious choice, based on values, rather than a product of their conditions, based on feeling." - Stephen Covey

"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." - Viktor E. Frankl

"You can’t always control circumstances. However, you can always control your attitude, approach, and response." - Tony Dungy

"Character is expressed through our behavior patterns, or natural responses to things." - Joyce Meyer

Take note that...

“Your response to someone or to an issue as a leader will display your integrity, portray your confidence, define your character, and communicate your attitude. It can make or break any positive or negative situation!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

We have received your quotation and we will review it prior to responding, because our response is our responsibility Kerry.

In fear is failure, so have no fear and be positive in your responses, always, which is killing two birds with a single stone.
